Rev. Lorinda Taylor was born and raised in Harvey, Illinois, a small suburb of Chicago, Illinois. Lorinda moved to Evansville, Indiana, in 1978.

 Rev. Lorinda is an Ordained Minister and the Author of the book "One Minute to Live By", a daily inspirational message to soothe the soul and previously along with her husband was the host of the Sunday evening Gospel Program radio broadcast.

  An Associate Minister 2004-2009 at Little Valley MBC she was an Associate Minister assistant to the Pastor and at Memorial Baptist Church beginning in 2001 until 2003, she served as the Christian Education Director. Rev. Lorinda holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Elementary Supervision and Administration.

 Rev. Lorinda Taylor is the Co-Founder and Assoc-Pastor of G.A.P. Ministries Christian Fellowship in Evansville, Indiana with a focus on outreach.

 She and her husband Pastor Harlan Taylor Sr. have four children; Harlan Jr., Lonita , Lawrence and Kier and Seven grandchildren; Ashlyn, Noah, Jasmine, Sean, Cydney, Isaiah and Silas.

Rev. Lorinda is a powerful engaging speaker with creative insights to spread the Lord's message to the masses. She has been the keynote speaker at women conferences and other functions throughout the tri-state area. The way she speaks and the message she gives shows that she truly is a devoted follower of the Lord.
